  1. I've been reading all-night accompanied by interruption-free WETA Classical FM radio in Washington,DC (wetaclassical.org stream available world-wide) and the calico cat, Abigail, that I have apparently inherited. Last check on YT before turning in for a while announced that the Philharmonic Shostakovich in St. Petersburg, Russia is streaming Dvorak's Cello Concerto+Brahms Symphony #1, 12- p.m. EasternTimeUS on, Nov. 11. Another instance of a concert that many more around the planet might enjoy if they knew about the stream with a greater advance notice:

    1. Hello Dr. Anonymous! I appreciate the silence of the nights -perfect for reading and meditating-, but I have put a maximum limit at 2 am (even 3).

I have tried to understand Abigail, but it is impossible, :) did you choose her name to remember the lady from New York (again)?

Anyway, there will be so beautiful programmes tomorrow!! :)

Have a great evening!! See you!! :)

  2. I'm afraid there is a risk that I could still be up watching the OSESP concert at 2am UK time in Manchester here. My wife doesn't approve of such late night viewing, but at least it is better for her than me trying to practice my trombone at that time of night!! Best wishes to you both, and also to Abigail.

    1. Hello Harry! :) I also usually listen to music at night, until too late!

On some occasions, I listen to music during sleep, and when I wake up I feel so happy (Bruckner's music has a wonderful effect). :) :)

Warm greetings!! See you soon! :)

  3. Washington,DC has a fine classical radio station, WETA Classical (you can listen over the internet). I read from 12-midnight to 6 a.m. No interruptions. Just brief introductions to the music. Some of the concert streams from Russia, such as Tomsk organ recitals on Mondays, broadcast here at 8 a.m., so I often stay up a couple of more hours and then sleep until noon or early afternoon. I inherited Abigail the Calico cat when her keeper, Sylvia, died unexpectedly. Her daughter, son, grandkids, brother and sister didn't want her. So she is my first cat companion.
